Working principle
As the material is fed into the grinding chamber through the funnel and screw conveyor, it is subjected to the high-speed rotating blades which shear and break it down. The powder is then directed to the classification chamber by the guide ring. Here, a combination of centrifugal and air forces come into play to separate the particles according to their size. The heavier particles with a diameter larger than the critical diameter are propelled back to the grinding chamber for further refinement, while the lighter ones with a smaller diameter are directed to the cyclone separator and bag collector via the discharge pipe. Here, negative pressurized air ensures that the final product meets quality requirements.
